The Future is Now
On Sunday‚ August 3‚ our Church voted to do some important things related to our future and the next building project. Our Future Is Now Committee‚ Building Committee‚ and Church have always believed that our relocation would necessitate a series of campaigns to fully build our new Hampstead Campus. Accordingly‚ the Church voted to contract with our previous partners — IMPAC Services‚ JH&H Architects‚ and Harrell Constructing Group— for the next phase.
Beyond the dirt and buildings is the most exciting part – what God is doing through His people. This is truly the heart of The Future Is Now effort and the work of the committee. Our plans for future expansions of facilities and ministries focus squarely on expanding the kingdom of God.
Where is God leading Morrison Heights?
Our vision goes far beyond Hinds County in Mississippi and reaches to the uttermost parts of the earth. That vision includes thousands of people and dozens of ministries on our Hampstead Campus to accomplish the worldwide reach of the Gospel. For that reason‚ the decision was made in July 2007 to retain our Morrison Drive Campus for missions and ministry purposes as well.
